What comes to mind when you hear the words TeenCanteen? A canteen full of teenagers? A secret club?
How about an indie-pop girl group?
Let us introduce you to TeenCanteen; hailing from Scotland these girls are here to give you a well needed dose of sugar sweet indie-pop. Singing of love, loss, break ups in the good old fashioned pop style. We’d recommend you check out debut single Honey, which quite literally is as sweet as honey vocally, the harmonies throughout have such a twang to them with their Scottish accents.
I think what we love so much about TeenCanteen is that they’re taking pop back to what it needs to be, without the gimmicks and with added Scottish fun!
From playing the T-Break stage at T in The Park in 2014 to releasing their second single ‘You’re Still Mine’ in June of the same year the foundations for a firm future have been laid. Currently recording their debut album at TAPE Studios in Edinburgh we look forward to these upbeat, funky songstresses bringing out new material for us to boogie along to!
