‘Give It Up’ For Bencoolen’s New Single
Washington DCs Bencoolen premiered their latest single, ‘Give It Up’, in Vents Magazine. The follow up to their cover of Tom Misch’s song, ‘Beautiful Escape’, which was released in September, the new track also features a video shot in-studio, and the clip starts with black and white shots before transitioning into full colour, as the band establish the pace of the song.

Broke Royals have been making music together since 2014, each song makes use of the vulnerability and exposure we all experience as humans trying to get along in life. Their latest single, ‘Saint Luxury’, is no less relatable than any of the other of their songs we’ve written about over the years, which have included ‘As Long As I Can See’, ‘Higher’, ‘Bad Chemicals’, and their seasonal release from last year, ‘The Christmas Cookie Blues’.

OMUMO Releases Compilation Album Of Washington DC Artists
OMUMO Records, based in Washington DC, is an independent record label which showcases the work of artists based in that community.
Founded in 2015 by Brad Atefi, himself a multi-instrumentalist and producer, OMUMO’s projects on the label include folk, rock, hip hop, and electronic music, all the while maintaining unique artistry and songwriting.
