Mike Shinoda’s ‘Post Traumatic’ Is A Sad Album Yet Serves As A Catharsis For Linkin Park Fans As Much As For Him

‘Post Traumatic’ by Mike Shinoda, is a sad album. There’s no getting past it. Written in the shadow of the suicide of his friend and Linkin Park bandmate, Chester Bennington, Shinoda uses the deeply personal album as a catharsis to work through his feelings. The 16 track full length album follows on from the EP of the same name, released in January this year.

STUDIOCANAL and the Independent Cinema Office are delighted to announce that the winner of the Palme D’Or at the Cannes film festival and multi-Oscar winner, ‘The Piano’ will make a triumphant return to our cinema screens to celebrate 25 years of this Jane Campion true classic.

This anniversary edition has been lovingly restored, and approved by Campion herself, and will be available to own on Blu-Ray, DVD and digital download on June 16th, with the collectors edition including a booklet and a copy of the soundtrack.

Joan Torres’s All Is Fused – ‘Of the Musical’

Joan Torres is the bassist and composer of jazz fusion ensemble All Is Fused, which he has led since 2011. Together they have released 3 albums and been nominated for various awards, including the Vox Pop award in the Fusion Album category, which they won at the 14th Annual Independent Music Awards, 2016. Their most recent album, ‘Of The Musical’, has this year seen them nominated at the IMAs in three separate categories: best Funk/Fusion/Jam, best Jazz album, and their track ‘Demiurge’ has received a nomination for best music producer in the jazz category.
