When UK Eurovision Entries Charted At Number 1

The UK certainly hasn’t had much success at Eurovision over the last couple of decades – the last win was in 1997 with Katrina and the Waves; and the last runners-up place was in 1998 with Imaani. In the 21st century, the UK has only reached the top 10 twice (third in 2002 and fifth in 2009). In fact, since 2003, more often than not, the UK has finished outside of the top 20, including three last-placed finishes and a famous nul-points for Jemini in 2003.

Ozzy Osbourne Follows Long Line of Musicians In Lending Image And Music To Slot Game

“Rock stars don’t come much bigger, better known, or charismatic than Ozzy Osbourne,” explains NetEnt director of game products Bryan Upton. In a deal that was brokered with Global Merchandising Services – Ozzy’s partner organisation for brand management and merchandising – NetEnt was able to secure the rights to use the his image and music in one of their slot games. Global Merchandising Services chairman Barry Drinkwater had this to say about the done deal: “NetEnt are the market leaders in their field and we’re incredibly excited to add another of our artists to the exciting NetEnt Rocks family of games.”

Dido Adds November/December Dates To UK tour – New Album ‘Still On My Mind’ Out Now

Ahead of her first album in five years, the stunning ‘Still On My Mind’, out now on BMG, Dido has announced five further UK dates in November and December, in addition to her already sold out UK tour this May. Commencing at the Birmingham Arena, on 28 November, Dido will also perform in Manchester, Brighton, Ipswich, and Sheffield, before winding up at the Evintim Apollo, London, on December 8.
