Released on August 27, the video for Kyd’s new single, ‘Get On Down’ sees the artist visit the “wild west” popularised in the Spaghetti Western genre of the 1960s. It features footage in old saloons, the desert of the US South West, and old fashioned steam trains. If that wasn’t already enough to evoke the Clint Eastwood classic, ‘The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly’, the song opens up with an extract of Ennio Morricone’s haunting theme from the film itself.
