John Hall has lived anything but a straight-foward life. He’s performed in clubs and theatres, hit the Billboard charts, and overcome challenges and disbelievers along the way. As the driving force behind pop/RnB band, Orleans, he’s written some of the most enduring classic rock songs, including ‘Dance With Me’, and ‘Still The One’. He’s also written songs for the likes of Janis Joplin, Bonnie Raitt, Ricky Skaggs, and James Taylor.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll know that Ukrainian band, Kalush Orchestra, triumphed in this weekend’s Eurovision Song Contest Final, with an incredible 631 points, 439 of which came from the public, making their victory unassailable, and establishing a more than comfortable lead over second place, United Kingdom’s Sam Ryder, who scored 466.

Rock sensations Måneskin continue to take the world by storm as they win the vote for Best Rock Act at the annual MTV Europe Music Awards tonight in Budapest, becoming the first Italian act in history to win a global category, and emerging victorious in the same category as Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon, Coldplay,  Imagine Dragons, and The Killers. The latest accolade comes hot on the heels of their sold out European tour and an opening performance for The Rolling Stones concert in Las Vegas last week.

Josefin Silèn Releases Her New EP, ‘Face the City’

Based in Finland, Josefin Silén, is a singer and an actor, who started writing songs at the young age of 9. She competed in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, and at the age of 18 was offered a record deal. From there she started work as a demo, and backing singer, for Helsinki Records, and in 2011 she was a backing vocalist for Finland’s entry at the Eurovision Song Contest, performing at both the semi final and the final.
