The artist, who has drawn comparisons to Chris Stapleton, Black Stone Cherry and Luke Combs, has been a long time coming with this album, having cut his teeth in dive bars and honky tonks in his home state of Arkansas, and in Texas, where he was given his nickname by band mates.
