Indie pop artist babybenny has released his new single, ‘one second’. The track, which explores the difficulties of a falling out between two friends or lovers, came together in a mere forty minutes.

‘one second’ sees babybenny take the complicated feelings that come from the falling out, and, rather than creating something sad and miserable, instead has crafted an upbeat and light track, built on warm tones and positivity. The result reflect’s babybenny’s belief that such moments don’t have to necessarily be sad ones; his view is that we’re all human, and that we should therefore accept that sometimes people grow apart.
At just over a minute and a half long, ‘one second’ manages to bring together all the emotions and feelings of the experience, and babybenny rightfully knew from the very beginning that it was going to be a special song, with its warm and infectious overtones.
