Canada’s Luca Mele Releases Captivating New Single, ‘Fly Away’

Offering an intimate glimpse into personal resilience and renewal, Canadian artist Luca Mele’s new single, ‘Fly Away’ is a heartfelt pop track that will captivate listeners from the get go.

‘Fly Away’ was released on the 29th of June, and is available to stream and download here.

The vocalist for Canadian band No Assembly Required, known to fans as NAR, and the only unsigned act in that country’s history to achieve heavy rotation and most-requested video status on Much Music/MTV Canada on three separate occasions, Luca Mele is certainly not an unknown name in his homeland, having also performed as a solo artist since 2012. He’s released multiple projects, toured Europe and collaborated with a number of top tier artists.

For ‘Fly Away’ Luca has once more joined forces with talent, with Trevor James Anderson, whose credits include work with The Weeknd, Andrea Bocelli, and Arkells, among others, doing the mixing and mastering. Meanwhile the beats were created by GRIMM Music, AKA David Sporbeck. With delicate guitar supporting Luca’s poignant vocals, punctuated by (sometimes surprising) electronic sounds, it’s a light yet moving track that will pull listeners in right from the very start.

‘Fly Away’ sees Luca Mele open up and reflect on forgiveness, building families, overcoming setbacks, and after all that, prevailing. It’s a theme that fits in well with Luca’s mindset; over his decades-long musical career he’s always made a point of promoting unity, love, and an end to suffering and corruption. This has seen Luca take a further step, and he’s currently a candidate to become a city councillor later this year.

‘Fly Away’ is out now and is available to stream and download here. You can find out more about Luca Mele and his music online on Instagram, Facebook, Spotify, and Apple Music.
