Multifaceted Creative Director Erik RUZICKA Releases New Pop Anthem, ‘Ďakujem’

Out now, ‘Ďakujem’, from RUZICKA STUDIO, came about in a moment of stillness. Quiet and heartfelt, it finds its foundation in gratitude, as opposed to ambition, when Erik RUZICKA was moved to thank the people who have supported him in his life and career, including those who have gone; as well as the experiences that have shaped him into who he is today.

‘Ďakujem’ comes with a music video, and is available to stream and download here.

Known creatively as RUZICKA STUDIO, Erik Ruzicka is a Slovak artist, who is now based in the UK. His work encapsulates those spaces that most people would find difficult to put into words, such as the atmosphere surrounding a memory. While his musical journey didn’t involve instruments or formal training, Erik nonetheless is able to convey exactly what he means, after nearly twenty years of experience in visual design and creative direction.

The music video for ‘Ďakujem’, also created by Erik, leans heavily into the symbolism of light, memory, and connection, and fully captures the meaning and emotion behind the song, just as well as, or even, better than a story. Representing appreciation and closure, ‘Ďakujem’ offers peace after a time of difficulty.
