Pure Order Bring Their Most Ambitious Record Yet With ‘Premeditated’

Taken from their album, ‘Sword of Infinite Sands’, new single ‘Premeditated’, from Pure Order is yet another example of how this duo, out of Oxnard, Southern California, are able to live by the principles they preach and make their way through this world and its troubling times.

Every track on ‘Sword Of Infinite Sands’ is distinct from the others, giving listeners the opportunity to examine each one in isolation, and take from it the lessons and challenges offered within. Pure Order see their mission as one to inspire the generations that follow them to take on the roadblocks they encounter with grace, and to pass through them undaunted.

While you might think of the word “premeditated” and envisage crimes committed with wilful thinking, Pure Order instead offer the idea of it as meaning a way by which to prepare for empowerment and success – manifestation, if you like. With a clever groove that allows the listener to absorb the message, the emcee spits out bars with conviction and determination, encouraging us to rise above that which society constantly bombards us, and rather, become free from media manipulation, and think for ourselves.

The music video for ‘Premeditated’ continues to lift us, and introduces another ingredient to the mix: community. Pure Order enlisted the assistance of local craftspeople and artisans from Teatro de las Americas, a Spanish-speaking community theatre in Oxnard. They contributed their time, energy, and talent to everything from an oversized picture frame, to the makeup, right up to the acting. Meanwhile Nemesis and God’s Gift from Pure Order find themselves in the centre of it all, coming together to save humankind from the course it finds itself on. The music video comes alongside a short film, which has already.
