Jaessiah Delivers A Haunting Reflection On Our Fractured World With New EP, ‘Final Call’

Out today, 12th September, Final Call’ is the new EP from South London artist, Jaessiah. A six track release, it was written in the shadow of growing unrest in 2022, and still holds great relevance with regard to the state of the world today.

‘Final Call’ is available to stream and download here.

‘Final Call’ sees Jaessiah give listeners 2 songs, the title track, and ‘Love Frequency’, as well as instrumental and A Capella remixes of each, adding a new dimension to the experience. The A Capella versions in particular add an ambience that deepens and expands the listening experience, allowing the audience to have a deeper understanding of the lyrics.

As Jaessiah sings, it’s clear that he is wanting to convey that, no matter how dire it feels, how fragile the world may seem, there is always hope of a better day.

‘Final Call’ encourages listeners to confront the chaos of the world, to understand what is going on, and, despite any urges to tune out, to rather face it head on and stay present. He certainly doesn’t leave us hanging, however, and with ‘Love Frequency’, he gives us a soothing salve; it’s not a solution but instead it’s an act of healing. Instead of choosing division, which is what the world seems to want us to do, we should instead remain soft, and choose love. Love conquers all.

‘Final Call’ was entirely self-produced, with Jaessiah weaving the ambient instrumental soundscapes with deep soul-immersed vocals, resulting in an EP that fully envelopes the listener.

You can stream and download ‘Final Call’ here, and find out more about Jaessiah and his music online on Instagram, Facebook, Spotify, and Apple Music.
