Steffi De la O Is ‘Living On The Edge’ With Debut Release

‘Living On The Edge’ sees Steffi De la O blend pop, rock, and electronic music, and calls listeners to grab hold of what life has to offer them, no matter how unpredictable it might be.

Still only 16 years old, Steffi De la O was born in Mexico City, and has lived all over the world, from New Delhi, to Dubai, and Rome, and now makes her home in the UK. These experiences have been channelled into her music, and her vocal prowess is courtesy of not just her natural talent but also singing training from renowned opera singer, Capucine Chiaudani.

‘Living On The Edge’, her debut single, sees Steffi skillfully capture the roller coaster ride that is life; with all its unexpected uncertainties and opportunities. Set against a catchy pop rock guitar and drum instrumental, Steffi is able to, by way of her ethereal vocals and impactful lyrics, relate to anyone who’s been in a position of not knowing where to go next – whether it be emotionally, mentally, physically, or anything else.

Steffi De la O wows everyone she meets with her talent. A polymath who has shadowed surgeons as part of her enthusiasm for neuroscience, she is multilingual, fluent in Spanish, German, and English, as well as being conversant in Mandarin, French, and Italian. Additionally, Steffi is an international epee fencer and a former Modern Pentathlon athlete who has won medals for Great Britain in both the Triathlon and Biathlon.

Steffi is also a carer, looking after her 87 year old grandmother, and is a passionate advocate for homeless causes, and cooked meals for those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic, which resulted in her being invited to attend Windsor Castle’s Coronation Festivities in 2023.

‘Living On The Edge’ is out now and is available to stream and download here
