Another release from Jekalyn Carr’s ‘The Inspiration Project’, Pastor Timothy Rogers releases an anthem of resilience, hope, and joy in new single, ‘For My Good’.
With his velvety voice, captivating charm, and never-ending commitment to spreading the gospel, Pastor Timothy Rogers uplifts audiences in both his community and beyond. The youngest of sixteen siblings born and raised in Blytheville, Arkansas, Timothy watched his father, Bishop T.J. Rogers, as he ministered, and at the age of 18 he stepped into leadership as Bishop Rogers passed the mantle to Timothy to continue the ministry at the Prince of Peace Church. He’s since embraced a path of passion and growth singing, teaching, and preaching God’s word.
In 2005 he established the musical group, Tim Rogers & The Fellas, and the Grammy-nominated artist has contributed to numerous major musical projects and recordings with the likes of The William Brothers, John Pee Kee, among many others. He’s currently the pastor at the S.A.G (Saving A Generation) ministry in the Atlanta area, but he also takes his dynamic sermons and music around the country, where his artistry is always marked by authenticity, enthusiasm, and a determination to bring people closer to God.
‘For My Good’, written by Jekalyn Carr as part of ‘The Inspiration Project’, sees Timothy evoke a sense of awe and comfort with his vocals, accompanied by the song’s memorable melody and classic gospel structure. The video showcases his dedication to living and sharing the word of God through music and action. Set in and around a recording studio, the video includes uplifting imagery that reflects the core message of faith and perseverance, and Timothy’s performance is both heartfelt and incredibly moving. He shares his joy on screen with his real-life daughters, making the video intimate, and familial.
