The Holiday Hustle Club Unite Us With The Universal Experience Of ‘The White Elephant Waltz’

Out of Athens, Georgia comes The Holiday Hustle Club, with ‘The White Elephant Waltz’, their humorous take on the drama that ensues during what should be the most innocuous of events, The White Elephant gift exchange that goes on at this time of year in companies all over the world.

Although it was released on November 29, the track takes place two weeks before Christmas, and the singer is waiting for his bonus to give the object of his affections the perfect gift. If nothing goes to plan, he’s got his eye on a $10 bottle of peppermint Schnapps that might just do the trick; but while he’s watching that, he takes his attention away from what should have been more important – and loses his girl to the boss. Gosh darn!

Set to a waltz time, with drawling steel guitars and an equally drawling vocal, and a rhythm that couldn’t be any more laid back if it tried, ‘The White Elephant Waltz’ is the perfect anthem for anyone who’s also felt dumb in their Christmas sweater, and a reminder that awkwardness and is a universal experience: we’ve all been there.

‘The White Elephant Waltz’ is out now, and is available to stream and download here. You can find out more about The Holiday Hustle Club and their music online on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and their official website.
