Musical Project Wendebellefly Present New Rock Pop Album, ‘Flowers Blooming’

Released on November 20, ‘Flowers Blooming’ is a showcase of singer-songwriter Wendebellefly’s unique talent for blending musical and visual arts.

Each of the album’s 11 tracks have been inspired by melodies that came to her naturally as she was playing on her keyboard, with the writing process a carefully curated process which saw her compositions arise from an assembly of words, moods, and imagery, with much coming from nature, photography, and colourful notebooks, as well as contributions she found by using a thesaurus.

As well as being a singer-songwriter, Wendebellefly is a painter, who imbues her music with the emotions she experiences and visualises in her art. Tracks such as, ‘Spring Day’, and ‘Romantic Dream’, are highlights on the album, while opener, ‘Sunflower’, sets the stage for the rest, with its upbeat pop rhythms, jangly guitar, and Wendebellefly’s ethereal, yet fun-filled vocals.

The musical project of California based artist, Wendy Asbury-Wang, Wendebellefly blends synths and electric guitars in an uplifting and vibrant fashion, matching them to lyrical storytelling which bring joy to those small moments in life that we don’t often celebrate, but should do.

Starting songwriting at the age of 18, Wendebellefly’s aim with her music is to heal and elevate the listener, while transforming ordinary moments into scenes of wonder and beauty.

‘Flowers Blooming’ is out now, and is available to stream and download here. You can find out more about Wendebellefly and her music online on Instagram, Spotify, and Apple Music.
