Faithless Town Call Back To Fan Favourite Song With New Release Of ‘California Come Home’

Although Faithless Town is an Americana rock band from Atlanta, GA, over the years they’ve also found their hearts yearning for California, specifically Los Angeles, where their catchy singles and infectious sound have seen them play iconic venues such as The Whisky a Go Go and The Viper Room, where they’ve the likes of Chris Knight and Jake Clemons. Their single, ‘California Come Home’, was actually produced years ago, and released on their sophomore album, ‘Empires’, in 2020, but it’s been a firm fan favourite ever since.

Speaking of the music video for ‘California Come Home’, band member Gene said,

“‘California Come Home’ is my ode to the classic sounds of California like The Beach Boys and the Laurel Canyon scene. My wife and I shot the video for it all over Los Angeles and looking back, it feels like a snapshot of our first year living out there and being in love with each other and the city.”

‘California Come Home’ is a windows-down singalong tune, and pays homage to not just the classic SoCal sound, but also to Gene’s love for Los Angeles and the coast of California.

Naturally, Los Angeles takes centre stage in the music video for ‘California Come Home’. If you’ve ever been there, you’ll recognise all the locations. Venice and Venice Beach, Santa Monica Pier, with its arcade games and fun fair rides, the old Amoeba Records site, the stars on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, the endless highways, and of course, the palm trees. So many palm trees. It’s the perfect place for an adventure, and if you’re not careful, it’ll steal your heart.
