Ta Mi Ko Shows ‘My Appreciation’ To Her Lord For Rescuing Her

Ta Mi Ko had dreams of becoming a fashion designer, however an accident would change the course of her life. Waking up months later, she found instead her life led her down a different path, of poetry and music, which she believed was sent to her by God to share His message with the world.

Reflecting not just her experiences, but also those miracles she’s experienced and lessons she’s learned along the way, Ta Mi Ko is learning how to be happy, and her face always smiles through the pain. New spoken word single, ‘My Appreciation’ is her expression of gratitude for all that God has done, and continues to do for her.

‘My Appreciation’ says that often our idea of we need in life is different to what we actually need, and God knows this and shows us if we allow Him. Ta Mi Ko’s accident should have left her paralysed and in a vegetative state, but seemingly God had other plans, and not only was she healed but she was given a renewed sense of purpose.

The music video for ‘My Appreciation’ centres on the idea of clowns, representing people caught up in the illusions of life, symbolising distractions and false priorities, leading us away from what truly matters. Ta Mi Ko brings forth the message that we should be grateful for what we have, and not seek what others have.

The clip represents visually Ta Mi Ko’s testimony, and conveys her appreciation for God’s guidance, her resilience, and her commitment to sharing the Lord’s message with the world. In so doing, she doesn’t just celebrate her own journey, but she also calls others to find their own path.
