Scottish Singer-Songwriter Jake Sowerby Releases Infectious Debut Pop Anthem, ‘All Night Long’

Released on June 28, ‘All Night Long’ is the debut single from Scottish singer-songwriter, Jake Sowerby. Taking his inspiration from the likes of Ed Sheeran, and compatriot Lewis Capaldi, ‘All Night Long’, produced alongside US artist Matty Beats, marks Sowerby’s entry into the pop scene.

While fresh and infectious, ‘All Night Long’ actually had its genesis back in 2021, when Jake and Matt first began discussions to work on ‘All Night Long’. The track reflects elements of both artists, fusing American-style pop beats and UK melodic acoustic guitar riffs; the end result being a truly remarkable blend of both.

Additionally, Scottish artist Moteh Parrott, who was shortlisted for the “BBC Radio Scotland Singer-Songwriter Award 2019”, and who supported Katie Gregson-Macleod on her 2023 Scottish Highlands tour, provides backing vocals on ‘All Night Long’, and alongside Jake serves the perfect meld of their two sounds.

Still only 22 years old, Jake Sowerby first got into music at the age of 12, but truly began his journey at 16 when he watched a documentary about Ed Sheeran, that highlighted the Suffolk artist’s early struggles, and reflected Sowerby’s own. From there Jake started writing songs and creating demos, soon catching the attention of Matty Beats, who, although a musical star on TikTok, discovered Jake on Instagram, and was impressed by his unique singing style. With ‘All Night Long’, Jake Sowerby is off to a great start, and we look forward to what more he has to offer.
