Dynamic Singer Songwriter MattO Releases Latest Well-Crafted Song, ‘I’m A Man’

MattO writes and produces well-crafted songs that make the listener think about the world around them, as well as the world as a whole. Latest single, ‘I’m A Man’, captures the sense of disconnection felt by many, and sees him once more collaborate with Italian musicians Luca Meneghello on guitar and Sandro de Bellis on drums/percussion.

Based in Switzerland, MattO draws his musical inspiration from the likes of The Kinks, and The Beatles, and he traded in his successful career as a legal professional at around 40 years old, in order to follow his passion for music.

New song, ‘I’m A Man’, with its evocative lyrics and soulful melody, serves as a voice for the voiceless; those who feel alienated by the advancements of modern technology, and who yearn for the simple, yet personal, connections of the past. It’s a commentary on just how much the digital age has impacted on human relationships, and how much we still need genuine, face-to-face communication.

Shot entirely in black and white in Switzerland, the music video for ‘I’m A Man’ shows MattO in an intimate setting, playing guitar and singing passionately with his band, interspersed with clips of him driving through beautiful forests. it’s simple, minimalist, and yet incredibly powerful, and the perfect match to MattO’s dynamic storytelling abilities.
