Released on July 4, ‘Out In The Wild’ is the new single from multifaceted musician, Angelica Artifex.
A vibrant track, filled to the brim with Caribbean rhythms, ‘Out In The Wild’ is infectious and beguiling, as Angelica Artifex draws directly from her own personal experience to write about self-discovery, and freeing oneself from the burdens of past relationships, and instead embracing the spontaneity of youth.
Speaking of the incredibly smooth process by which the track was written and produced, Angelica said,
‘I could not have done this track without my bomb team, producer LUGO and co-writing Celeste Scott, together we created fire!’
An anthem of emancipation and liberty, ‘Out In The Wild’ is accompanied by a simple music video which lets the song speak for itself, while at the same time ensuring that the the feeling of freedom and self-discovery is evident.
Born and raised in Sweden, Angelica Artifex calls upon this upbringing as well as her heritage from Finland and Cuba. Frequent visits to Cuba ensured that Caribbean rhythms and urban pop played a part in the development of her musical upbringing, which also blended dance and art into the mix.
Angelica always displayed a passion for music, and honed her talents at the prestigious Rytmus music high school. From the age of 12 she began performing at jazz clubs, while also recording backing vocals for a range of different projects.
Too great a talent for just Sweden, Angelica Artifex found her way to Milan, Italy, where her performance at Expo Milan led to her to pursue her singing career in Los Angeles, where she has since gathered to herself a dedicated following, and made a name for herself as a TV host on LATV Networks ‘Get It Girl’. Now Angelica divides her time between Europe and the USA, and we look forward to what follows next.
