Scrams PTG Returns With Must-Hear Albunm For UK Rap And Drill Fans, ‘The Resurgence’

Released on March 1st, ‘The Resurgence’ is the new album from Scrams PTG, cementing his place as the pioneering force behind UK drill, and one of the most influential figures in the UK rap scene.

The eleven track album opens right out of the gate with emotive and powerful lyrics, the intro track, ‘Rocking With Me’ gives the new listener an ample idea of what to expect, while refreshing the memory of existing fans.

The second track, ‘How’s It Like’, featuring Jay Billy, continues to tug at the emotions, giving listeners an insight into Scrams PTG’s life, as he raps with a stream of consciousness flow.

Scrams PTG confirms this when speaking of the new album,

Following this with’365′, and ‘All Out Attack/Resurgence’, Scrams PTG comes through with fast paced rhymes, continuing with the autobiographical lyrics, and clear passion for his craft. ‘The Resurgence’ is more than just an album about him however; he’s brought in some other names from the UK Drill and rap scene, such as the afore-mentioned Jay Billy, as well as Zilla, and GGrimes PTG, ensuring the album will have a lasting impact.

Final track, ‘Stupid’, which features GGrimes PTG, fills the head with sound, darting from ear to ear, providing an awesome showcase of Scrams PTG’s talent.

Originally from London, Scrams PTG started out in 2010, quickly rising to become one of the pioneers of UK Drill with hit projects such as, ‘fings on things’, and ‘trapped between the two’, as well as certified bangers such as ‘peng ting hello’, ‘formation’, ‘hands on’, and ‘dpmo’.
