AG GATLING Asks Us To ‘Name It’ With New Gospel Single Featuring LATICE CRAWFORD And READYAVE

AG GATLING’s name is synonymous with soul-stirring melodies, and latest single, ‘Name It’, sees him collaborate with rising star Latice Crawford, along with READYAVE in an ode to their Lord.

A declaration of faith from all three artists, ‘Name It’ started out as a short conversation between AG GATLING and his brother, Chris. The central idea of “naming it”, that is, those gifts and good fortune that God has contributed to one’s success, is predominant throughout the track, before the phrase is slowly replaced instead by “claim it”, serving as an illustration of triumph. This is illustrated in the music video, as AG meets up with READYWAVE outside the church building, before going inside, where they are joined by Latice. From there we see the three going through their individual lives, and expressing where they’ve felt God’s hand. With contributions by Latice Crawford and READYAVE raising the emotional core of the song up to the next level, their own sentiments echo those of AG. READYWAVE’s fast rhymes don’t detract at all from the consistently slow, soulful pace of the track, and the listener will soon find themselves contemplating their own blessings that have come from God.
