The Music Video For ‘Faith Test’ Provides A Visual Narrative Of Darren Waller’s Journey Through Life

Growing up with an instantly recognisable surname from the world of music, Darren Waller has combined this heritage with a love for football, playing tight end for the New York Giants. But the musical legacy of his great grandfather, Fats Waller, the legendary composer and jazz pianist, was going to show through, and so when Waller isn’t playing football, he’s pursuing his passion for music.

The music video for ‘Faith Test’ the latest song from Darren Waller’s upcoming album, ‘The Ripple Effect’, captures moments between his two worlds of New York and New Jersey. Shot by ARod2Up, we see Waller deliver his lyrics with earnest conviction, they mirror his very life; his trials and triumphs, his journey of resilience to self-discovery, and above all else, his unshakeable faith, that guides him throughout his life.

The clip as an invitation for viewers to connect with the Darren on a much deeper level, to see the man – and artist – underneath the football helmet. While the twin passions of football and music might seem at odds with each other, Waller is certainly the one to be able to embrace both.
