Kurt Carrera Gets Real About Modern Dating In Latest Track, ‘Mistakes’

Filipino-Australian R&B artist Kurt Carrera takes a look at situationships, commitment issues, and confusion in his latest single, ‘Mistakes’.

‘Mistakes’ takes a deep dive into the dating scene, and paired with a catchy and instantly memorable melody, has a relatable storyline focuses on the story of the friction between friends who get involved with each other, while refusing to commit to a more serious relationship.

Additionally, ‘Mistakes’ sees Kurt Carrera joined by a world-class roster of industry professionals, with production by Glenn Lumanta, mixing by Tim Tan, and mastering by Randy Merrill.

Kurt’s soft and effusive vocals are the perfect match for the dance melody and backing vocals, and should appeal to fans of Bruno Mars.

Carrera has been a rising star in the music scene of Perth, Western Australia, for more than a decade, winning over fans with his infectious energy, magnetic stage presence, and above all, his incredible vocal talents. A career highlight so far was performing at the quarter time show at Optus Stadium, Perth, during an AFL match, as well as collaborations and shared stages with other accomplished artists such as Gabe Bondoc, Supathick, and End of Fashion.

‘Mistakes’ is out now and is available to stream and download here. You can find out more about Kurt Carrera and his music online on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
