With their new singles, ‘La Fiebre’ and ‘Revolucion’, musical collective Trensettahs Sound System show their devotion to the cause of creating and promoting Reggae music to fans all around the world.
Trensettahs Sound System have a prolific output have so far achieved a cohesive, spiritual whole greater than the sum of its parts, while at the same time collaborating with artists and philosophies across the globe.
Trensettahs Sound System dream big and aim high. Rather than just planning the release of singles or albums, this musical collective have planned an annual festival in Ethiopia, as well as a collaborative album featuring artists from Jamaica, Ethiopia, Columbia and the US, and a 5-part docuseries that follows them to those countries. The collective recruit the best of the best when it comes to collaborators, and their new track ‘La Fiebre’ features on vocals the celebrated Sizzla Kalonji, alongside musical visionaries Zalama Crew, the latter of whom are also featured on ‘Revolucion’. Â
‘La Fiebre’ is more than just Reggae – it takes in world music influences, as well as Reggaeton, Dancehall, and Afrobeat rhythms. Meanwhile, ‘Revolucion’ comes closer to traditional Reggae.
