Maisy Grace Is Back With First Single For 2023, ‘I Never Needed Anyone’

This week, Maisy Grace releases her brand new single ‘I Never Needed Anyone’. This marks the first track to be unveiled from Maisy’s anticipated forthcoming debut album, produced by Kouncilhouse and set for release in Summer ’23. Maisy Grace is the 18-year-old breakthrough singer-songwriter to watch, hailing from the shores of Cornwall, a place connected with soulful beauty which resonates through Maisy’s self-penned music, rugged sound and beautifully alluring lyricism.

‘I Never Needed Anyone’ will be available on all streaming services from Friday March 3.

Maisy said,

“This track was inspired by someone close to me who made me appreciate the value of accepting help and what we all do for each other as humans. Coming from a time when I was set in my ways of taking things on alone, it helps me look back and realise that its not the end of the world to let someone in.”

One of the UK’s most exciting newcomers on the block, Maisy has already received recognition from tastemaker blogs such as Listen With Monger, CLUNK and BBC Radio 6 Introducing airtime. Her deeply honest songwriting, beautiful vocals and shimmering harmonies make Maisy one of the most promising young artists from not just the Cornish coast but the entire UK. A musical force to be reckoned with, Maisy is a true multi-instrumentalist, effortlessly talented on piano, guitar and bass. The past couple of years has seen the young artist play a whole host of festivals , including Leopallooza, Boardmasters, Rock Oyster, Tunes In The Dunes and Great Estate. In addition to this, she also released her debut EP titled ‘Sidelines’, and single ‘Circles’ in collaboration with one of the underground’s best kept secrets, Kouncilhouse.

‘I Never Needed Anyone’ is out this Friday 3 March on all streaming services, via Dirty Lemon Recordings.
