Man In Charge: We Speak With CEO Fully Loaded About His Life, Music, And Inspirations

We recently wrote about ‘Round The Corner‘, the new single from CEO Fully Loaded, featuring Fatt Macc. Now, for your reading pleasure, we bring you our interview with the man himself.

Hi there, thank you for speaking to us! First of all, tell us about your name! How did you come up with CEO Fully Loaded, and what does it represent to you?

Fully Loaded came about when I was younger mainly due to me always giving 100% in everything I did. The CEO part of my name came because I never wanted to be the rapper or artist, I always wanted to be the boss man. To me CEO means “Chasing Every Opportunity”.

We’ve recently reviewed your single, ‘Round The Corner’, in which you collaborated with  Fatt Macc. You’re both from Montgomery Alabama. How much does the history of your city, particularly in regard to the Civil Rights Movement, play a part in your day to day lives?

As a black man in the city of Montgomery, the Civil Rights Movement played a big part in all of our lives. The movement made it to where we can all come together as one, and I’m very appreciative of it.

How did you get into music in the first place, and what are your long term goals for your career?

I got into music maybe in middle school just playing around, as I became older I began to deal with it a bit more. My long-term goal is to keep going and build an empire based off of my recording label Southwest Records.

What advice do you have for anyone wanting to get into music, whether it be hip hop or any other genre? And what piece of advice have you been given that you can share that means most to you?

I would say to anyone that is enquiring about getting into the music industry, to give it all they have. If they are passionate about it, stop at nothing to get what you want and don’t let anyone change your vision. Martin Luther King once said ” If you can’t fly, then run. If you can’t run, then walk. If you can’t walk, then crawl. BUT by ALL MEANS, KEEP MOVING!”.

Who inspires you in both your day to day life, and in music?

My inspiration is just me knowing that one day I am going to be that person to give back to my community. I will be able to reach out and help the youth in my city and other cities that surround us as well. Seeing how so many are going down the wrong road really affects me. So, I want to be the change that the youth can look up to and make the right decisions in life.

What can fans next expect from CEO Fully Loaded?

My fans can expect something different from me in the music world, I’m bringing more positive vibes and just all around great music.

Finally, what question do you wish someone would ask you in an interview, but nobody ever does? And what’s the answer to that question?

Why am I so humble? My answer would be because I’ve seen the struggle in life since I was a kid and God made a way then he’s still making a way for now that I’ve grown into a man.
