Kimberly Morgan York Returns With New Single, ‘Fallen’

Kimberly Morgan York’s latest release, ‘Fallen’, is a new song with an old soul. The track, taken from her album, ‘Keep On Goin’, released on July 22, sees Morgan continue down the track of positivity and self-affirmation that we saw with her release back in January, ‘Real Thing‘.

‘Fallen’ has all the elements of good ol’ country music, but with some modern touches, such as electric guitar, that nonetheless fits in seamlessly with the fiddles, slide guitar, and waltz rhythm. Over all though, Kimberly’s glorious vocals ride high, as she tells the story, through song,

“All of my music is based on real life…heartache, perseverance, joy, abuse, victory, struggle, and love. I want listeners to be able to connect to my music…to see reflections of their own stories in mine. I hope my songs help people feel less alone in their journey. I also want to entertain them and inspire people to laugh and let go”.

And her music is certainly inspiring. ‘Fallen’ is the continuing story of the love she shares with husband Kevin York, which we first heard about in ‘Real Thing’, while addressing the idea that she’s not perfect; she’s been an answer to many a prayer, but she’s not an angel. Her wings are tied. Just like the rest of us, she’s simply human.

Kimberly’s new album, ‘Keep On Goin’, was produced by David Barbe, who also backs her sonically, along with Scott Baxendale, Jay Gonzales, and Carlton Owens & Matt Stoessel, both from rock band, Cracker.

Kimberly Morgan York is certainly going places, and just like the name of her album, she’s going to ‘Keep On Goin’. Her high energy vocals and incredible performance should definitely take her there, and we’re happy to come along for the ride.
