Carta IVS Releases Latest Single, ‘Take Time’

Birmingham’s Carta IVS promotes love, risk, and what it means to be in a relationship with his latest release, ‘Take Time’. Written in the summer of 2019, this rhythmically electronic track sees Carta IVS speak out about his own experiences, in his lifestyle and relationships, and he hopes that listeners relate to the vibe of the song in their own way.

Carta IVS takes his inspiration from the likes of Michael Jackson, Kanye West, J Cole, and Jay Z, and has been interested in pursuing a career in music since the age of 6. He began following his dream seriously in 2017, and in 2020 he released his single, ‘Amiri Jeans’, followed by ‘She Fell In Love’, in 2021.

Carta IVS appeared on UK Street Rapper Stardom’s album, ‘1 Day’, which saw him carry the melodic hook on the song, ‘Don’t Know’.

While Carta IVS’ style draws comparison to R&B, UK Hip-Hop and Melodic Rap, he prefers not to categorise his style. He currently has several unreleased songs, and intends to release them track by track, enabling him to establish a confident relationship with his fans. Additionally he has set for himself the ambitious goal of becoming a household name through increased exposure, with Take Time clearly a very huge step in the right direction.

‘Take Time’ is out now and can be streamed and downloaded here. You can also find out more about Carter IVS and his music online on Instagram, Facebook, Spotify, Apple Music, and Soundcloud.
