AmeyA Releases Brand New Single ‘Unwired’

Released today, ‘Unwired’ is the new single from singer songwriter AmeyA. The 60s style track also takes inspiration from the likes of Amy Winehouse, and Duffy.

‘Unwired’ is available to stream and download here.

‘Unwired’ sees AmeyA explore her experiences with mental health, lonelieness, social anxiety, and feeling misunderstood, as a person with ASD Apserger’s. The track is cathartic in how she is able to express her struggle to relate to those around her, and find acceptance, with lyrics such as,

“I’m feelin’ unwired I’m feelin’ unwired, can someone help me out n get my re-start fired”.

Deeply personal, ‘Unwired’ is the latest release for AmeyA, whose songwriting helps with her own emotions. Her aim is that the song will also help others, and that her listeners will find it very relatable.

A British Indian artist, AmeyA has been writing and recording songs since she was 11 years old, and her talent was recognised at the very start of her career, when one of her songs was featured as “BBC Track Of The Week”. She has written and released a number of original songs, as well as performed in venues in Camden, and Westfield London.

AmeyA has also appeared on the cover of “National Autism Magazine”, and in an article titled, ‘Finding her Voice’. With songs such as ‘Unwired’, she can truly claim to have found that voice.
