Keegan Connor Releases New Single, ‘Dancin’ in the Rain’

Keegan Connor is back with her new single, ‘Dancin’ In The Rain’. The young artist – Keegan is still only 15 years old – wowed us back in September with her track, ‘all my friends‘, and we feel her new release is going to do even better. ‘Dancin’ In The Rain’ is set for release November 26, and can be pre-saved here.

The upbeat pop song has a slight Latin feel to it, which reminds us of the likes of Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, and Shakira. You can also hear more contemporary artists in her sound, with the likes of Olivia Rodrigo, Dua Lipa, Bruno Mars, Joshua Bassett, Ariana Grande clearly having an influence. Keegan’s powerful vocals belie her tender years, and instantly lift the mood of every listener. The lyrics are effortless, while the melodies are slick and professional.

Born in New York but now living in Midwest USA, Keegan Connor started her musical journey way back when she was 2 years old, sitting at the piano picking out tunes. When she was 4 she performed for her friends, playing on her toy guitar. Add to that the fact that she’s appeared in more than 20 musicals, and it’s pretty clear Keegan has music running through her veins.

‘Dancin’ In The Rain’ expresses a maturity not often seen in songwriters so young, and it’s exciting to think what the next step will be for Keegan Connor. Speaking of the new single, she said,

“In the midst of stress, time feels frozen. My song reflects a desire to feel free and happy again. Free to have fun, drive on the open road, turn up the radio, sleep all day or stay up late. When there’s no place to go, just dance in the rain and release any worries!”

Keegan Connor has a natural musical ability, and her approach to her music is refreshing, and sets her apart from the crowd, thus establishing her as a must-watch artist.

You can keep up with Keegan Connor and her music by following her online on her official website, as well as Instagram, Facebook, Spotify, Soundcloud, and Apple Music.
