Sibling duo Black Dawn, comprising Michael “Apaccolips” Muhummad and Thomas “2Slick” Lea, having been giving their own spin to hip hop for more than three decades, and are definitely here to stay. With their new single and music video, ‘Steppers Party BD Slide’ they are bringing something new to their performance, with a song and dance combo.
Black Dawn have over the years performed at such prestigious venues as The Lincoln Theater, Arena Stage, and The D.C. Convention Center, and always bring something fresh to their performance. While Michael and Thomas have very different fashion styles and tastes, they nonetheless are able to combine their talents and find a balance in their music. ‘Steppers Party BD Slide’ is an easy listen with a catchy hook, and the focus for the video is a group of people performing a fun dance routine, that is bound to become a viral sensation.
