Leph Louie – ‘Motivated’

Although he’s left his mark all over the US, and starting his TTO (Travel Team Official) label in Denver, Colorado, Leph Louie now makes his home base in Tampa Florida. The rapper’s name is derived from his left-handedness, as well as his talent for coming out of left field – paired with a play on the name of Louis Vuitton, indicating that Leph Louie knows how to produce high quality. His new single, ‘Motivated’, is out now, along with a music video.

His third series, ‘Work & Faith III’, was released in August, and like all of his tracks, has the common theme of going after your goals, and working hard, according to your beliefs. With clever wordplay and melodies that hit you right in the feels, Louie is able to convey his personal moments, resulting in tracks that resonate with his listeners, and that they can relate to.

The clip for ‘Motivated’ is just Leph Louie and his charisma smouldering before the camera. He could easily be preaching in church, or standing in front of us like a motivational speaker; but there’s none of the puff, it’s all real talk. Louie raps about his hustle, and entreats his listeners to do likewise; if you want to succeed there’s no ifs nor buts. Sitting in an empty lounge, he somehow manages to fill the space with his lyrics and beats. Leph Louie is all about winning, and after listening to this track you’re going to want to set and achieve some goals of your own. Leph Louie and his music can be found on his official website.
