Smiling Sessions Kick Off Series 2 With KT Tunstall

Back in June we introduced you to The Smiling Sessions, a group run by a non profit organisation, who go into community centres for the elderly each week, where they host sing-a-longs for the residents and members. During the lockdown period, The Smiling Sessions certainly didn’t let their mates down, and instead went fully-virtual, with celebrities popping by to lead the sessions online.

Now they’re back, for a second season, this time with KT Tunstall kicking it off, with her performance of The Beatles’ ‘Twist And Shout’. The session is now available to watch on YouTube, as well as The Smiling Sessions app.

Another singer who is bound to bring a lot of smiles is Brian McFadden, who is confirmed for next week, and will lift the spirits of many who are still living in isolation. Singing has been proven to beneficial to your health, and with this wonderful free project, it’s just one more thing to help the most vulnerable get through these current tough times.
