Trav Torch returns with his new single, ‘Give It To Me Baby’, alongside a music video which takes full advantage of his butter-smooth vocal talents and magnetic screen presence. The clip is certainly one for the times, demonstrating that Trav too has perfected his hand-washing technique. It’s love in the time of Covid-19.
Trav Torch’s speciality is music you can make out to – his previous releases have had titles such as ‘Sex Tape’, ‘Lust’, ‘Naked’, and ‘Screaming Out My Name’ – so unsurprisingly he picks up where he left off with new track, ‘Give It To Me Baby’. It’s a slow burner of a song, a full blown tale of late-night longing and sexual passion, but done 2020 style, via phone and video.
Trav’s voice is smooth and deliberate, as he tells his lady what he wants, and how he wishes they weren’t separated by social distance.
Shot by Troophouse Films, we see Trav and his girlfriend and how they cope with their desires, phone and FaceTime. Eventually it’s all too much, and the pair meet up in person. Love is love, and it still goes on even in times of crisis.
