Canadian singer/songwriter Donny Anderson is a former Canadian Idol finalist, and has featured on Rachel Platten’s Gold selling album, ‘Wildfire’, as well as writing for other artists such as Chad Doucette, Small Town Pistols, Wes Mack, Clayton Bellamy, and Sons of Daughters. Now he has gone it alone, releasing his first single, ‘Lovin’ You’, featuring vocals from Canadian icon, Divine Brown. The track was written in a songwriting camp, and has received backing from the Songwriter’s Association of Canada.
‘Lovin’ You’ is a feel good summer anthem, with an underlying dance instrumental, with Anderson and Brown’s vocals demonstrating their immense talent. ‘Lovin’ You’ comes ahead of Donny’s upcoming debut solo album, which is set for release later this year.
Reminiscent of the EDM dance tracks of Armin van Buuren, ‘Lovin’ You’ is upbeat and catchy, with an entrancing percussive element which syncs perfectly with the vocals.
Donny Anderson has also had his music synced in several major television programmes and films, including a hit collaboration with Humain on Spinnin’ Records, which was featured on ‘Empire’.
