Activist Kika Angelic Releases Debut Single, ‘Where Are You Jeff?’

Kika Angelic had been selling on Amazon since she was in high school, she effectively dedicated her entire life to the company, and participated in the seller community, helping others without seeking anything in return. She consequently became very successful, which resulted in jealousy from other Amazon community members, who mounted an organised campaign of online abuse, bullying, harassment, and defamation, in an effort to have her removed from the site.

Ultimately the bullies were succesful, with the Amazon executive deciding to permanently ban her from the site, thus rewarding the bullies. The ban resulted in thousands of Amazon sellers protesting the decision, but to no avail.

‘Where Are You Jeff?’ is Kika Angelic’s heartfelt plea to contact Jeff Bezos, owner of Amazon, in order to get him to intervene and restore her to the Amazon community. Kika has a gofundme fundraiser to enable people to help her in her cause.

‘Where Are You Jeff?’ clearly has its inspiration in Europop; it could easily, had it been 3 minutes long rather than 4, be taken for a Eurovision contender. It’s upbeat and the chorus is super-catchy, with the accompanying lyric video making her case abundantly clear.

‘Where Are You Jeff?’ is available to stream on Soundcloud, and Spotify. You can find out more about Kika Angelic, her music, and her protest on her Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts.
