Bombay Bicycle Club have recently announced that their brand-new album, ‘Everything Else Has Gone Wrong’, will be released on the 17thĀ January 2020. A UK/Ireland tour will follow starting on the 20thĀ January in Cambridge.
‘Everything Else Has Gone Wrong’ is the well anticipated new album by the British band after their number 1 charting fourth album ‘So Long, See You Tomorrow’, which was released back in 2014. The album was mainly recorded in the US alongside Grammy Award winning producer John Congleton. The first single of the album ‘Eat, Sleep, Wake (Nothing But You)’ is available to stream through Spotify now, although this single is only a taste of whatās to come.
The band state that:
āThis is an album for anyone whoās ever turned to music in a time of crisis, whether personal or political. Itās about the solace one can get from listening to music or playing music when everything else has gone wrong. Itās about finding kernels of hope and renewal in dire situations.ā
Bombay Bicycle Clubās musical journey began back in 2009 where they were just teenagers. They have continued to develop and grow as a band, which shows in the new music that theyāre releasing.
