Steff Neff – ‘Mine’

‘Mine’ is the latest song from 21 year old Houston-based singer, Steff Neff. Her sound is strongly rooted in dark pop, with a candy coated pop melody, and deeply emotive lyrics.

Authentic striking, a seasoned lyricist and an immensely talented musician, Steff’s career is on the up and up, having signed with Strega Entertainment Group. She has had praise from many big names in the business, including Rick Barker, former manager of Taylor Swift, and Tom Mckinney, formerly the voice coach of both Beyoncé, and Demi Lovato, who recognised and commented on her voice, determination, and talent. In 2017 Steff was selected as one of 27, chosen from an international cohort, to participate in the “It All Starts With A Song”, songwriting retreat, hosted by Judy Stakee, former VP of Warner Chappell Music Group. She’s also performed at many events and venues, including Springboard Music Festival and The House of Blues.

‘Mine’ is liberating, empowering, and sincere. The music video which accompanies the anthemic track shows a sunny day, sympbolising a fresh start, without any burden from the past. Steff is powerful throughout the video, refusing to back down. Singing her heart out from a city rooftop, she declares on her Twitter bio that she’s – “just a Houston girl, her piano, and a plan to take over the world nbd”.

Lyrically, Steff makes it known that she’s not giving any of herself away: not her heart, her soul, or her dignity. She’s in control, she knows how much she is worth, she holds her head up high.

‘Mine’ is available to stream and download here. You can find Steff Neff online on her official website, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
