Nancy Ruth – ‘Todo Para Ti (All For You)’

Spanish-Canadian singer-songwriter Nancy Ruth fuses jazz, Latin music, experimental rock, and flamenco and leads the charge to the reinvigoration of Flamenco music. Her latest single, ‘Todo Para Ti (All For You)’, is a lightning-flash of guitar and vocals, radiating passion for life, and love, all the while showing what is possible with music.

Nancy Ruth has been a student of music ever since her childhood in British Columbia, where she learned about jazz and classical music. She studied at the Victoria Conservatory, and since that time she’s been making music all over the world, including stops in Morocco, Brunei, Polynesia, and Panama. Everywhere she goes she immerses herself in the musical traditions of the area. Nowadays she lives n Malaga, which serves as the ideal base for her as an internationally recognised artist – Nancy will be performing this spring in Spain, and in Senegal, at the Saint Louis Jazz Festival – and her sound is fearless, and truly cosmopolitan.
‘Todo Para Ti’ is her most recent single, and like most of her material, is Nancy’s own composition. Her vocal performance is explosive, and with her captivatingly expressive face and curly blonde hair she seduces the camera, while the musicians who accompany her play with passion and devotion. Autumn leaves fall from the rafters at the feet of a pair of flamenco dancers, who move like figures in a dream. The song is an elegant amalgam of jazz, pop, and the immense sexiness of flamenco.

‘Todo Para Ti (All For You)’ is available to stream and download from Nancy’s website, iTunes, and Spotify. You can also find Nancy Ruth online on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
