Released on October 30, Atlanta artist Stormie Bleu Haworth has released her latest track, ‘Castle Dark’.
The alternative artist is a first generation Greek Cypriot American, who became interested in the performing arts after watching the film ‘Purple Rain’. She started playing guitar at the age of 8, and started studying acting around the same time, leading her to working for Nickelodeon, and Universal Studios, making commercials, youth programmes, and films. Her first love however was always music, although she has also written books under the pen-name of Khloe Kamalis.
Stormie creates music with no set rules; she believes in producing a sound which comes from her own raw emotions. It’s not hard to imagine therefore that her live performances are electrifying to say the least, her sound refreshing, yet powerful; her style captivating. Her first single, ‘Breaking Into The Light’, was recorded at Jack White’s Third Man Records Recording Service, and was recorded and pressed into vinyl, using the same machine upon which Elvis Presley had recorded his first single, in 1953.
‘Castle Dark’, her latest single, which was released on October 30, is a soft rock power single with Stormie’s vocals reminiscent of Björk, and Stevie Nicks.
