She was also the voice behind popular children’s characters, including Tommy Pickles on Nickelodeon’s ‘Rugrats’, Buttercup in ‘The Powerpuff Girls’, and in a live action role, Dottie in ‘Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure’. EG also provided the voice of the pig in ‘Babe: Pig In The City’.

In 1985 Daily signed with A&M records, and worked with Stephen Bray, and John “Jellybean” Benitez, famous for his work with Madonna. Her song ‘Say It, Say It’ made it to number 70 on the Billboard Hot 100, but raced to the number 1 spot on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart.

The track is important in that it represents all types of people, and brings with it the message that we should respect ourselves, and not change who we are, through fear of judgement. The track has resonated strongly with the LGBT community, who Daily describes as “her tribe”.
