Sukh Releases New Album ‘Galactic Love Machine’

Doctor turned singer songwriter Sukh is set to release his new album, ‘Galactic Love Machine’, on 19 October. Recorded at Manchester’s Blueprint Studios, the sound defies all boundaries of indie pop.

Sukh’s previous release, ‘Kings’, had a more folky sound, so it’s a surprise but a welcome one to hear his more pop sound on ‘Galactic Love Machine’. The 12 track record is clearly inspired by older pop, particularly that of the 80s, but with modern sensibilities. The sound in our minds draws comparisons to that of Peppermint Heaven.
Sukh’s aim was to create a “feel good” album, and he describes the creative process as having stretched out over a long period of time, while he allowed the songs to “brew and crystalise”. His hooks and gorgeous melodies flow over the listener while maintaining strong lyrical integrity.
‘Galactic Love Machine’ will be available via all digital outlets from October 19. You can find out more about Sukh online on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Listen to more of his music on SoundCloud.
