Last month we reviewed the debut release, ‘Clouds’, by Carlo Canetti, and we hoped we’d hear more from him. Well our wishes have been granted and Carlo returns, this time with dafydd providing the vocals, on his new track, ‘Close To You’.
A medium paced dance track whose tight production reminds us of Avicii, ‘Close To You’ features some vibing horn-sounding synths as well as the full yet somehow mystical vocals of Dafydd Alexander, performing as dafydd.
dafydd’s beautiful voice has some of the richness of Rick Astley’s sound, while maintaining his own style.
