John J – ‘Bury Me’

John J is a hip hop secret. Hailing from The Bronx, he’s an emcee who exudes passion from every pore. His style is inspired by the likes of Tupac, Nas, Joe Budden, AZ, and Jay Z.

‘Bury Me’, released on 6 May, features the vocals of Breana Marin alongside fierce rhyming from John J. The track is reminiscent of the style of Eminem, with John J spitting out the words like they’re venom. Strength of conviction comes from each word.

Breana Marin, an LA based singer songwriter, has been a frequent collaborator with John J, and also features on his tracks, ‘Crossfire’, ‘Sip Of You’, ‘Never Good Enough’, ‘Day Will Come’, and ‘No Sleep & Heartache’. She’s worked with Grammy award winning producers Rodney “DarkChild”, Jerkins and RedOne, and has written songs for Keyshia Cole, Mila J, Letoya Luckett and Fifth Harmony. Breana has also had her music featured in the movie trailer for 2016 film, ‘When The Bough Breaks’.

You can stream and download ‘Bury Me’, as well as John Js other music, from iTunes, Amazon, and Spotify. You can also download John Js mixtapes for free from Datpiff.
