North London’s Sophia Mina released her new EP, ‘Fly’, on 1 March, with the single, ‘Run To’ out on 6 April. The singer songwriter has a Greek Cypriot and Chinese heritage, with her music rooted in pop and commercial RnB, as well as cutting edge urban beats which underpin strong melodies and honest lyrics.
Sophia studied at the Institute of Contemporary Music and has been on her extraordinary musical journey since 2014, which included mentoring by Jess Glynne when she first started out. Her debut single, ‘Where’s Love’, released on London-based Deep Stack Records, hit the top 10 in the Music Week Pop charts, while her follow up single, ‘Turn It Up’ reaching the top 10 in the Music Week Upfront Club Chart, firmly establishing her as a force to be reckoned with on the UK club scene.
Sophia works with many fellow writers and producers on club collaborations and production of her own material including; Giannii Milano, Lewi White, Rawz Artilla, Michael Antoniou, JPL, DirtySaj, Syon and Dion D’Lucia.
