DANI is the performance name of artist Danielle Scheidl Koh Shi Rui, a dynamic self-producing singer and songwriter from Singapore. Her unique sound features a wide range of influences and sonic aesthetics, drawing elements from pop, ambient music, and shoegaze, making for a layered, textural, and beautiful set of harmonies and soundscapes.
The London-based artist is set to release her debut single, ‘Blue’, which stands out as a great example of her creative vision and ability to create multi-faceted pop songs with a blanket of ethereal soundscapes, and beautiful melodies.
Produced by DANI with Grammy nominated producer Bryan Wilson, it’s a true indie-pop gem, with lots of stunning atmospheres, layered vocals, suspended piano chords, and meditative ambient sounds, merging with smooth electronic beats.
‘Blue’ is set for release on March 28 on all major streaming platforms, with a music video dropping April.
