Three LA artists, Marc Avery, Sean Carney, and Rockwell Sands have joined forces and formed their new band, WOLVES. The trio have released their debut single, ‘Animal’.
Each member of WOLVES has spent the past few years writing songs for others, a solid way for songwriters to make a living in a city which is already saturated with artists. This however became very frustrating, and the three decided to pool their talents and resources to form the group. First single ‘Animal’ is a hook-laden pop rock track, with a 4-to-the-floor beat provided by Sands, while synths and guitars creep in, ready to drop into the chorus. Singer Avery belts out the lyrics – it’s a hot and sexy dance track ready-made for the clubs.
The video for ‘Animal’ is shot in and around LA with the band performing live on a rooftop, intersperced with shots of them playing in a forest, while Avery is seen making sweet love with the girl in the lyrics whom he wishes would “love me like an animal”. The clip was written, directed, and edited by Alec Di Marco and HustleCake Productions.
‘Animal’ is available on Spotify and iTunes, while you can check out WOLVES on their official website, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
