Austin David – ‘Find Me A New Way’

With its nearly 300 annual days of sunshine, Southern California has long been luring artists from across the USA and around the world, attracted by its promises of adventure, community, and creative inspiration. Austin David, originally from Michigan, is another of these, and his single, ‘Find Me A New Way’, is SoCal party music at its best, and should certainly establish him as a performer to watch.

‘Find Me A New Way’ takes its inspiration from 80s and 90s classics, with compelling lyrics which outline Austin’s journey from Michigan to California, and also call us to the dance floor, along with his impassioned vocals. The track is accompanied by a video directed by Chad Schollmeyer, which underlines the strengths of the track and amplifies the feel-good mood. Schollmeyer himself is a new face in California pop, and likewise has the talent to get attention.

The video for ‘Find Me A New Way’ sees the scenes change seamlessly, from a ranch, the beach, a villa…and so on. Austin also changes quickly, albeit with the assistance of a trio of female dancers. It’s a spectacular, original, and altogether very impressive music video.
